Privacy policy
Draft: to be reviewed by a lawyer before public launch.
What we collect
Your email address (to sign in), and the answers you give: age range, country, optional town or city, education, skills, details of the job you lost (occupation, job title, industry, company size, optional employer name, salary), and your situation since. We also store a one-way hash of your IP address for 90 days to detect abuse.
What we publish
Only anonymised totals, and never for any group of fewer than 10 people. We never publish your name, email, town, job title, employer or exact salary.
Why we use it
To produce public statistics on AI-related job loss (with your consent, given when you submit), to let you update your entry, and, if you opt in, to email you every 90 days asking for an update.
Who processes it
Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (email), Cloudflare (bot protection), Sentry (error monitoring, with personal data removed), and Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, LinkedIn or GitHub if you sign in with them.
Mailing list
If you ask for data updates, we store your email address, when and where you signed up, and when you confirmed. We send about one email a month and don't track whether you open emails or click links. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and if you have an account you can also turn updates off from "My entry". Deleting your account removes your subscription.
Your rights
From "My entry" you can edit your answers, download all your data as a file, or permanently delete your account and everything linked to it. Deletion takes effect immediately and your data is removed from the next statistics refresh.
